eFORMz Install an Extension
This guide requires that you have an extension created. An extension could be a .zip file on Windows with the appropriate eFORMz project files placed inside with a Install.xml file. Please see this article for more information on specifications for creating an extension: https://alt2.minisoft.com/support/index.php/eformz-create-an-extension/
Using an Extension
The option “Install an Extension” in eFORMz can be used to install a directory path for your projects, replacing configuration files, such as fontspec_user.xml, or adding new fonts, translation files, or eFORMz settings. This guide shows you how to use an extension, specifically a .zip folder on Windows.
To implement, click on “Host Tools” and select “Install an extension…”. Using a .zip as an extension is available for the Windows operating system only currently. The other operating systems that are supported by “Install an extension…” are AS400 and Unix.
The Install dialog will display.
The install is complete. You should see your directories created with the appropriate file names and project files.
