To insert a string, right-click the Variable and select <em>Add Function &gt; Insert string<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/alt2.minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/IS_1.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-612 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/alt2.minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/IS_1.png\" alt=\"IS_1\" width=\"545\" height=\"275\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/IS_1.png 545w, https:\/\/www.minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/IS_1-300x151.png 300w, https:\/\/www.minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/IS_1-150x75.png 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 545px) 100vw, 545px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>2. The Insert String dialog box will display. Select the newly created Rule from the Current Project window and then select Add Rule &gt; Place Text.<\/p>\n<p>4. The Rule Properties dialog box will display. Enter a new Rule name and select the previously created Variable for the Use Variable field. Once complete, click OK.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/alt2.minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/75.bmp\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5390\" src=\"https:\/\/alt2.minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/75.bmp\" alt=\"\" width=\"365\" height=\"565\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>5. The text string will appear in the eFORMz Viewer, Form and Data Viewer.<\/p>\n<h2>Attach String to Existing Data<\/h2>\n<p>1. From the eFORMz Viewer, Input Data Viewer, select the data you would like to add a string to, right click, and select Add Variable.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/alt2.minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/76.bmp\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5394\" src=\"https:\/\/alt2.minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/76.bmp\" alt=\"\" width=\"585\" height=\"319\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>2. The Variable dialog box will display. Enter a new Variable name and click OK.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/alt2.minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/77.bmp\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5395\" src=\"https:\/\/alt2.minisoft.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/77.bmp\" alt=\"\" width=\"433\" height=\"299\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>3. The newly created Variable will display in the Project window. Right click the Variable and select Add Function &gt; Insert String.<\/p>\n<p>4. The Insert String dialog box will display. Enter the character string you would like to attach to the selected Variable in the Insert &gt; Constant field. From the eFORMz Viewer, Form and Data Viewer, right click in the position you would like your new string to appear and select Add Rule &gt; Place Text.<\/p>\n<p>6. From the Rule Properties dialog box enter a new Rule name and select the previously created Variable. Once complete, click OK.<\/p>\n<p>7. The Place Text Action dialog box will display. Click OK if you are complete with the Place Text Action dialog box.<\/p>\n<p>8. Your new Rule will appear in the Current Project window and in the eFORMz Viewer, Form and Data Viewer.
