Ship/FX Shipping Labels Not Printing or Printing Very Slowly

Ship/FX sends requests to your shippers for shipping labels. If a shipper’s server is slowed or down, you might experience an unusually long delay in receiving shipping labels, or you might only receive an XML response stating that the system is unavailable.

You can verify the status of FedEx, UPS, USPS, and Canada Post shipping services at https://www.shippingapimonitor.com/history.html. In the right column of the table, click View History for the shipper that you are interested in. Delays of five to ten seconds significantly impact performance. Delays longer than that will probably result in an error returned from the shipper. Shippers typically fix these problems within an hour.

If you have Ship/FX set up to rate shop, and one of your shippers is down, Ship/FX will automatically ship through the shipper that is up.
