Using Brio

  1. Start a new Brio Session.
From the DataModel menu, select Connections, Create.

  1. Select ODBC from the Connection Software list.  Select ODBC from the Database Software list. Press OK.

Note: If you enable the "Use ODBC Logon Dialogs" option, you will be prompted for filling in all required data manually.

  1. From the Data Source list, select your Data Source Name.  Press OK.

If a user password is required, use this syntax:

    User ID:
    [sessionname,]username.account[,group]

    Password:
    User-pw/account-pw/group-pw

Note that leading slash characters are required. For example, if there is only an account password, the syntax must be:

    /account-pw

  2. Use the default values for the Open Catalog Definition in this sample.
    Press OK.

  1. Press OK.

  1. View the available table list by selecting Table Catalog from the DataModel menu.
