MDMDA does not completely report an error when setting an item value fails. Using object.Item returns no problem. Using object.WriteItem will return a false. This applies to Image, KSAM and MPE objects. WriteItem will not be changed. You must check the return value to ensure the value is set.

Fix: MDMDA32.OCX 2.4.4.1 will throw an OLE Exception when setting the property fails.

July 21, 1999

Custom servers with values above 127 can be treated as negative numbers. This will result in invalid connections.

Fix: Upgrade MSSERVER and SERVER to 2.3.1.4 or later.

Retrieving the value of an I or J type that contains a negative value will work only once per DBGet.

Fix: Is fixed MDMDA32.OCX Version 2.4.2.9
