System and Network Monitoring - Now Supporting SSH - (What is SSH?)

Scout is a system and network monitoring tool that runs on Windows platforms. Scout monitors objects (systems, servers, printers, hosts, clients...) on the network and generates alarms when problem events occurs. Alarms are delivered via pager, e-mail and message broadcast.

Scout is capable of monitoring objects on various platforms from Windows, Novell, UNIX, HP e3000, OpenVMS and AS/400. Added feature enhancements now allow for monitoring of SNMP Query, SNMP Traps, TCP Services, and Syslogs on UNIX and HP e3000. Along with an additional external hardware component Room Alert™ for environmental monitoring, Scout delivers a full package monitoring system.

Features:

  • Alarm on the network are reported via pager, e-mail and message broadcast. Paging can be simple or alphanumeric and can be performed with a modem. Scout features extensive paging options and alarm escalation support
  • Scout is easy to understand, easy to use and low in cost. You can start monitoring your network in just a few minutes!
  • Scout keeps watch on your network and informs you if trouble occurs!
