NetPrint, Minisoft's network printing package is
still going strong and continues to be the preferred choice for
robust network printing on the HP3000.
New Features
NetPrint fully supports
network printing to printers configured for TCP/IP or connected
to a LAN through Netware, Windows NT/2000/XP and Unix/Linux
servers. Combined with eFORMz,
spoolfiles can be merged with electronic forms to produce sharp,
clear laser-quality output.
NetPrint version 3.2 resolves
a number of issues relating to the compatibility between NetPrint and Java 1.3 JVM.
This latest release also addresses the issue
of spoolfiles failing to print after the first attempt. On the
retry, the spoolfile contents would be sent to the internal log
files instead of the printer.
